Terms of Service

Last Updated:

These terms govern the web design and related services provided by ZTH® Studio. By engaging us or accepting a preview or quote, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

ZTH® Studio is an owner led web design studio based in Xagħra, Gozo, Malta, operated by Jovan Pejic and Lucianne Attard. You can reach us at hello@zerotoherostudio.com.

2. Our services

We design, build, and help launch websites for small businesses. The specific deliverables depend on the package you choose as described on our pricing page. The exact scope for your project is confirmed in writing before we begin the full build.

3. Free preview, no obligation

We provide a free one-page preview of your website before you commit. The preview is offered with no obligation: if you decide not to proceed, you owe us nothing and may walk away at no cost.

4. Pricing & payment

  • Package prices are one-time and listed on our pricing page. There are no mandatory monthly fees.

  • Payment is split 50% on approval of your preview and 50% on launch. You never pay until you have seen and approved your actual website.

  • An optional monthly care plan (hosting, backups, and updates) is available and can be cancelled at any time. Your website works without it.

5. Micro Invest

Where applicable, we provide the invoice you need to claim Malta Enterprise's Micro Invest tax credit. Eligibility, application, and approval are between you, your accountant, and Malta Enterprise — we do not guarantee that any claim will be accepted.

6. Timelines

We aim to deliver within 10 days from the point we have everything we need from you. Timelines depend on you providing content, feedback, and approvals promptly; delays on your side may extend the schedule.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business information and the content (text, images, logos) you want used.

  • Ensure you own or are licensed to use any materials you supply, and that they do not infringe third-party rights.

  • Review previews and respond to requests for approval within a reasonable time.

8. Intellectual property

Once your project is paid for in full, ownership of the final delivered website (its content and custom design) is yours. We retain ownership of our underlying methods, code libraries, and reusable components. Unless you ask us not to, we may display the finished work in our portfolio and marketing.

9. Revisions & scope changes

Reasonable revisions during the build are included. Significant changes to the agreed scope (extra pages, new features, redesigns after approval) may be quoted and charged separately.

10. Hosting & third-party services

Websites are typically hosted on Framer, Webflow or Netlify. Any personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and availability, which are outside our control.

11. Refunds

The preview is free. Because the work we produce after approval is custom-built for your business, fees paid are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.

12. Warranties & liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services are provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of business. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

13. Termination

Either party may end an engagement by giving notice. If you end the project after the build has started, you remain responsible for paying for the work completed up to that point.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the "last updated" date above.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
